RTF version: Requires any word-processing software that uses Rich Text Format (RTF) files. Allows you to enter, print out and save your inspections. Allows you to customize the report in many ways: insert your logo, replace the illustrations provided with your own graphics or digital pictures, etc.
PDF version:
To use Residential Property Inspection Reports PDF version, you will need additional software. Depending on the software you have installed, you will have different capabilities:
FREE Adobe Reader only: You will be able to view, complete and print the forms. You will not be able to save the completed forms, or add your own company logo, replace illustrations, etc.
FREE Adobe Reader plus CutePDF Form Filler: You will be able to view, complete and print the forms. You will also be able to save completed forms, and save a partially completed form (with your company information) as a template. You will not be able to add your own company logo or insert other images or illustrations. (CutePDF Form Filler works within current versions of the FREE Adobe Reader; make sure you have the most recent version available.)
Full Adobe Acrobat (Standard or Professional): You will be able to view, complete and print the forms. You will also be able to save completed forms, and save a partially completed form (with your company information) as a template. You will not be able to add your own company logo or insert other images or illustrations. You will also be able to create your own PDF files from most Windows applications (by "Printing" to PDF).
