Roger Tarbox is a self-employed master carpenter with over 20 years of experience as a hands-on carpenter, foreman, project manager, and yard manager in sawmill operations. From small projects such as sun porches to major housing developments, he has experience in calculating costs, figuring lumber requirements, producing complete take-offs, and tight joints.

R. Dodge Woodson is the author of dozens of books related to the building trades. As a craftsman, he has built as many as 60 homes in a year, been a superintendent on housing projects of up to 365 units, and is a noted remodeler. He is also a master plumber and master gasfitter.
