UNIFORM PLUMBING CODE
2012 Edition
The Washington State Building Code Council has adopted the 2012 edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code , with the noted amendments.
These codes will go into effect July 1, 2013.
The 2012 edition of the Uniform Plumbing Code, including Appendices A, B, and I, published by the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials, is hereby adopted by reference with the following additions, deletions and exceptions:
- Provided that chapters 12 and 15 of this code are not adopted.
- Provided further, that those requirements of the Uniform Plumbing Code relating to venting and combustion air of fuel fired appliances as found in chapter 5 and those portions of the code addressing building sewers are not adopted.
This is the latest amendments to 2012 UPC as adopted by WAC 51-56/ Effective 07/01/10
